Grocery is the single largest department in any Walmart Supercenter or Neighborhood Market — hundreds of aisles stocked with thousands of food items that must be continuously replenished as customers shop throughout the day. Grocery Stocking Associates focus exclusively on the food side of the store — dry grocery, canned goods, snacks, beverages, cereal, condiments, and paper goods — keeping the most frequently shopped aisles in the building full, faced, and organized. The sheer volume of grocery freight makes this one of the most physically demanding stocking positions at Walmart.

Position Overview

Walmart is hiring Grocery Stocking Associates to maintain product availability across dry grocery, canned goods, snacks, beverages, and paper goods departments at Supercenter and Neighborhood Market locations. You will process high-volume grocery freight from truck deliveries, stock shelves to mod specifications, rotate dated products, and ensure the grocery aisles customers depend on most are always full and shoppable.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume grocery freight from daily truck deliveries, breaking down pallets and stocking cases to designated shelf locations.
• Stock dry grocery aisles including canned goods, cereals, snacks, condiments, beverages, and paper products to planogram standards.
• Rotate all dated products using FIFO bringing oldest items to the front and placing new stock behind existing inventory.
• Pull expired products from shelves per Walmart food safety policies, documenting waste and disposing of items properly.
• Maintain clean, well-faced grocery aisles that make shopping efficient and visually appealing for customers throughout the day.

Qualifications & Benefits

Must be 16+ years of age. No prior grocery stocking experience required. Must lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly — grocery cases are among the heaviest in the store. Comfort with fast-paced physical work essential.
