Position Overview
Walmart is hiring Backroom Associates to manage receiving, binning, and inventory organization in the stockroom at Supercenter and Neighborhood Market locations. You will unload delivery trucks, sort freight by department, bin overstock into backroom steel using inventory handhelds, process automated picks, and maintain the organized backroom environment that supports efficient sales floor replenishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload GM and grocery delivery trucks using rollers, pallet jacks, and conveyor equipment to move freight into the backroom.
- Sort received freight by department, staging pallets and cases in designated areas for floor stockers to access.
- Bin overstock merchandise into backroom steel racking using Walmart inventory management handheld devices.
- Process automated system picks pulling binned merchandise to the sales floor when shelf inventory scans out of stock.
